Awesome document scanner app. Scanning and cropping is very easy. They’ve thought of almost everything. Been using it for a few days now. Will update with constructive criticism and what can be improved. For now the automatic magic colour option after scanning has a little too much contrast for my liking. However it can be manually adjusted. So proud to have such an amazing Indian ocr scanning app.
I am a teacher and during the current online classes phase, we have to give all the study materials in PDF file formats. I have tried many camera scanner apps but none of them provide clear scans along with a user-friendly interface. I was quite disappointed and then I tried FlashScan. I am so thankful for this app. It works fast and accurately.
Guys good start but needs lots of changes still like: 1. Auto edge is not working 2. Filters dont let u custom change colors and so u r forced to choose original as other filters r junk 3. can put a water level to ensure flat captures 4. U can give paper size option to embed captures while making PDF. 5. Ad after every click or action is a bit too much, plz reconsider. +ve’s 1. simple, fast n no nonsense app 2. Lite weight 3. This is a good start but you need to improve a lot to compete. Here are few suggestions from my side 1. On cropping page while adjusting edges I’d love to have a zoom like something we see in Camscanner. 2. You have a Good UI but one thing is after the image is cropped on the filter page you should give an option to go back to cropping page for more convenience 3. It’ll be better if you try to provide more filters I hope I’ll see my suggestions soon in the app and then you’ll see 5 stars from Me
The idea of having a free scanner app for Android devices is amazing. But often all the free things are not up to the mark. But I tested FlashScan just to scan a few papers and found it clean. Still need to check other features but so far, scans are good.
