so far so good. Had one singular on my last phone until I reset it and couldn’t find it again. It’s been working like it’s supposed to so far. glad I found it. The one thing I don’t care much for is while I’m talking on the phone it still reads my SMS out loud, if it had a button a switch where I could stop the loud verbal SMS while talking on the phone that would be great. But overall it’s doing what I need it to do
I like this app, so far; however, I have 2 suggestions for improvements: give options customize initial delay before announcing and an option to customize delay between announcements if you are setting up announcements to repeat. In regards to the inappropriate ads: ads aren’t inappropriate; just too many. A paid version with no ads, perhaps? Thank you for listening!
Galaxy S7, Android 8.0 – it announced incoming calls, but did not announce or read SMS senders or SMS contents. I was hoping it would be an acceptable replacement for ReadItToMe, which used to do both but now only does SMS, but it is not. Also, ads–often full-screen and usually the same ones– appear with almost every other screen tap, which is annoying and excessive. Correct these faults (and allow selective SMS contact/contents reading like ReadItToMe), and it would be a great app.

This is a great inconvenience for me because I got it to help me screen my calls and texts while driving 🚗. Although there was a recent update, it is still not giving me the performance advertised. So far so good. It’s only been installed for a few days and is working like a champ. 8/18/22 Been using this app for a long time. Was satisfied for a while then it stopped announcing callers. All incoming calls are ‘unknown’, even if they’re in my contacts. Looking for different app.
Not actually doing anything. No caller announced and no text read. Have set up correctly and set phone to Google Text Speech. Voice test is OK.
This is a very rubbish app it couldn’t even announced caller name it keep on saying an unknown is calling you. So am about installing the app right away That is why I gave it two star because it worth noting more than that
This app( like the others) isn’t consistent. I’ve had it for a week. In that time, it has announced one call from my contact, one call from unknown & one sms. It did this the second day I had it. Nothing since. And it doesn’t work with bluetooth. I don’t think any of these apps truly work.
Also, not working on Android 12 (S22). In fact there is a bug in the app that force closes the app. Not reading message. Not saying name. Android 10 (yes, the switches are set to do so). App constantly “closing”.
This is the ABSOLUTE worst app. All calls say unidentified eventhough the numbers are on my contacts. Then tjier are the ads. Come on every button you press pops up not one but 2/3 ads. You spend more time hitting the X than accomplishing the task at hand. Less than one star but they won’t let me. Two thumbs down.!!!
