This was a five-star app until the last update. The new Banner is way too small and much more difficult to type in wind speed and to read the ring adjustments…. I do like the grid ( a light green option would be wonderful it Blends in very nicely) and the elevation adjustment is a nice touch… Sorry it’s back to five starts this is an awesome app it just took a little while to get used to the new Banner.. thank you!!!
Cool app. Would be extremely helpful if it was accurate. Most of the club wind numbers are wrong compared to golf clash notebook wind charts. For a paid app, the dev needs to keep it updated. I’ve noticed he responds to some of these reviewes, but not too the ones about it being inaccurate. There should at least be a screen for the user to change the numbers manually. Also, the app crashes often and needs to be restarted. Restarting the app causes GC to reload and reconnect.
This was my goto app from the beginning of Golf Clash, but I have regretfully had to move to that other app. The user interface for this app is perfect, it’s simple and out of your way, easy to plug-in data and shoot. I’ll miss that. But the club variances have gotten far too wide to ignore. Sniper, Goliath, and Rapier, all heavily used clubs, are way off, as examples. Idk why or how the slippage occurs, but I would love for y’all to reel that back in so I can return to caddie. please🙏and ty❤
A simple app that covers all the basic requirements needed while playing. Layout and interface still needs some tweaking IMO. Some AI functionality would be nice if you told it what hole you were on and it were to point to a recommended approach as an overlay or a red dot on the screen. Might speed up setting up shots as well.
A fantastic app, truly a game changer when learning how to use the WPR system. The grid overlay is wonderful. It helps a ton when trying to line up shots just right. 100% recommend this app if you’re looking to get even better especially on shoot out holes. I can easily go on 3 or 4 game win streaks and sometimes 6 or 8 game streaks when I get really good with knowing the courses and shoot outs.
Worth the money, great app, recommend it to everyone, my game has greatly improved… Developer… When entering wind speed, having the ability to enter direction would be a huge benefit, especially when using power. Could be an easy arrow layout or a degree wheel. Then when including power, the wpr will increase or decrease based upon the direction of the wind. (more power… blowing away wpr increases, blowing towards decreases). Thanks, good app.
Great appb I like the update , however Dev suggestion – return the the ability to close the wind calculator keyboard from left/right side again. This was much more convenient before . Now u can only close from wind button and this is an issue for left handers especially with only a 30 second clock. Again Great App,really happy with elevation adjustment and grid lines thanks for all you do!
Great app.. The addition of the elevation adjustment is a definite plus and the grid is fantastic.. Would like to have the option to move it to the left side kinda gets in the way with the in game fun.. Would also like to have the grid adjustable and lockable or some kind of movable crosshairs to use as adjustment tool.. Great job.. Well worth the small $.. Keep it up
I’ve been using this app for a very long time.I find it very useful handy and easy to use. To me the size is still a little bit too big but other people say it’s too small. I guess you can’t please everybody. The bag set up is very easy. I think it could be a little more accurate but it’s definitely something to go by. This app hasn’t had an update for a very long time. So why do I have Master clubs now? And why has the wind adjustment changed for power ball 0-5. I was doing great with app.
Helps learn, understand & get used to the ring system better than any yutube videos or game itself explains! Would be nice to customize the grid lines yourself tho. For ex: make even across screen, turn lines to match wind direction so you don’t have to turn screen, add more or less lines, and/or opacity. Maybe explain the ‘n’ better, a way to measure distance to pin & elevation. W/o knowing in-game makes it hard to know what +/-° you should use, especially on the fly! Still 5* w/o a doubt!!!
