The Google Goggles app is all about visual search. Simply take a picture of an object and let Google recognize the object and return relevant search results. The application can also recognize English, German, Italian, French and Spanish words, which can be translated to other languages. So you could for instance take a picture of a the information next to a painting in an Italian museum and Google goggles will take care of the translation back to English. Or how about a german menu in a small German restaurant? (knoblauch brot mit kaninchen?)

Visual search is still in its infant stages and will continue to grow in the coming years, but with this free app from Google you can already start to benefit from its many uses. Great app!
