The sudoku free app for android is the most popular sudoku app around, so if you're into sudoku, you just entered app heaven. Sudoku free is from the same developers as the chess free app, the boys and gals of AI Factory. Apparently they love games, because they've also developed Backgammon free, Moveit! Free, Reversi Free, and Go Free. Obviously, 'free' is a very big thing for them. 

However, don't think this means they kind of freewheeled their way around building this sudoku app, because they haven't. It offers 500 Sudoku puzzles over 5 difficulty levels, going from easy japaneezy to medium, hard and unbelievably bizarro hard (well, for most people that is). 

The app also tracks your stats, like how fast you solved a puzzle, what your average time is and what your completion percentage is for each level. So if you're the competative kind, you are well served. 

For lesser Sudoku gods, there is always the option of hints and aids, so there is really no reason NOT to get this app - accepting when you hate Sudoku; maybe.
